Emergency Doorstep Veterinary Services
To get more milk production from animals, it is necessary to maintain better health of the animal. That’s why SARHAD DAIRY started their veterinary services in 31st January, 2015 at Sumrasar village by establishment of first vet center. We are providing veterinary service started at only by 150 rupees. Dairy also provides veterinary services to non-members. It will create awareness regarding animal health among farmers and also farmers get veterinary services at low price. All the Doctors are provided with the mobile telephone connection, ensuring their accessibility round the clock.Farmers can call on IVR number for visit registration. At present there are 20 vet center and primary veterinary health center. To create the transparency between Diary and Farmers, SARHAD Dairy going to launch “Case less payment” and “ Smart Visit Registration” within short time.
Vaccination
For the prevention and control of diseases like Foot & Mouth Disease, Lumpy skin disease and other diseases, vaccination done by union and govt. This year SARHAD Dairy started the FMD vaccination through the help of government in Kutch region twice in year. In this year 2024 we did around 33 thousand FMD vaccination of animals.
Mass deworming campaign
For the control of parasitic diseases in all age group of cattle and buffaloes, milk union organize the Mass Deworming Campaign twice in a year, before and after monsoon using different dewormers .The first dose of deworming should be given to calves after 10-15 days. Then at the age of one and three months and then regularly twice in a year.
Free of cost camps
Dairy is organising a free treatment and deworming camps on daily basis. In this service our veterinarians are provide different kind of treatment and services like fertility improvement treatment, deworming, Gynaecological disease diagnosis and their suitable treatment, and general treatment also. All this camps are organised on mandalis and at owner’s farm.
Farm consulting
In Kutch, animal husbandry is doing in traditional way only. They feed their animal through grazing, which debilitating the animal health and which directly leads to decreasing the animals production. For that dairy started Farm consulting. In this our veterinarian visit progressive farmers and consulting them regarding how to do profitable animal husbandry, how they can increase their animal’s production, animal vaccination awareness, deworming and many more.
Balanced Cattle feed
For better health of animals balanced diet which includes proper portions of roughage, Green or silage and concentrate. There are different diet and amount of concentrate required for the animals from different category. E.g., pregnant animal, Milking animal, Heifers, Higher or lower producing animal and also calves. Our dairy producing balanced cattle feed at our plant. There are different variant for different requirements e.g., Diamond, Regular, Standard, Premium, Makai Bhardo.
Mineral mixture
In regular feed of animals like roughages, green fodder and silage doesn’t contains all necessary major and minor minerals. To fulfil this nutrients requirement dairy produced mineral mixture which, contains all the required nutrients in proper quantity which are required by the animals.
