In the month of January 2013 Sarhad dairy has started processing plant with an initial capacity of 20k at – Milk Processing Plant Survey No. – 218 Lakhond Chokdi, Bhuj – Bhachhau highway, Lakhond – 370105, Kutch – Gujarat(India) With Help of Government under the project of RKVY started plant of processing milk and making milk pouch under the brand name of “AMUL”.In 2014-15 expands its capacity to 2 lakh.

The journey starts from 15 societies,1 chilling center and 30000 milk per month worth rupees 10 lakh to now 650 societies, 70000 milk produces, 19 chilling centers to 5,00,000 ltr.milk worth rupees 60cr. per month
