Mastitis prevention programme

In this programme we are doing CMT test in 4 stages during whole year. In selected 10 VDCS during 1 year we are performing CMT in 4 stages at milk pouring point. If any milk sample got positive at pouring point, then we perform CMT tests at   farmers shed in all animals to found the mastitis positive animals. After CMT taste doctors treat animals with suitable medication and after 10 days of medication again CMT tests are done.

Ethno veterinary practice

Now a day use of allopathic medicine in animals are increasing day by day. Residues of this allopathic medicines are let in the milk of animals which are treated with this medicines. Which is harmful for humans. Also overuse of antimicrobial also create the antimicrobial resistance in animals. To overcome this issue SARHAD DAIRY started the ethno veterinary practices. In this practice doctors treat animals with Ayurvedic medicines. Along with this doctors also suggest them to do home remedies for fast recovery. There are some products of Sabar dairy which we are using to treat the animals, which gave very fast response in treatment. Last year 2023-24 SARHAD DAIRY treated almost 6000 animals with EVP and we got such a great response in it. So dairy is planning to establish ethno medicine plant in future.
